Compare packages before calculating a total

Published equipment charges are useful starting points. The examples below exclude unpriced delivery, setup, collection, tax and optional items. They do not establish equivalent bed or mattress specifications.

A published foam-mattress package

$420 / month + extras

AZ MediQuip lists its 36-inch full-electric foam package at $420/month. An optional overbed table adds $75/month, giving $495 in equipment charges before transport and other extras.

AZ MediQuip

A monthly bed rental with configuration to confirm

$600 / month + extras

Fountain publishes a $600 monthly bed rate. Have it identify the bed, mattress, rails and complete delivery/collection charge before comparing this with a specified package.

Fountain Mobility

One month versus four weekly charges

Confirm the billing dates

For AZ MediQuip’s foam package, four $140 weekly charges would be $560 versus its $420 published monthly rate. Fountain’s four $200 weekly charges would be $800 versus $600 monthly. A “month” may not equal 28 days; obtain the applicable date range.

Planning in Phoenix

Equipment, delivery & rental terms

A Phoenix store and a Valley delivery area are different facts

AZ MediQuip lists a Phoenix store on E Bell Road; Electropedic lists its Phoenix location on E Camelback Road. Fountain serves Phoenix, Fountain Hills, Scottsdale and surrounding communities. A storefront is useful for discussing options, but it does not confirm that a particular rental is stocked there.

For delivery, give the supplier your exact address and installation room. Ask whether the quote covers assembly, operating demonstration and later removal. The reviewed pages advertise service, but do not settle those charges for every part of the Valley.

AZ MediQuip · Fountain Mobility · Electropedic

Compare a specific bed-and-mattress combination

AZ MediQuip distinguishes a 36 × 80 inch foam package from low-air-loss and 42-inch-wide heavy-duty packages. These options change both the equipment and the price. Ask for the model, total footprint, mattress type, rail configuration and the supplied package’s capacity in writing.

Electropedic describes powered height adjustment on its full-electric beds. Fountain’s rate listing leaves the exact configuration open. Bring the same requirements to each supplier so that their quotes describe comparable equipment; the page cannot determine personal suitability.

AZ MediQuip · Electropedic · Fountain Mobility

Keep the collection and extension terms in the quote

A weekly or monthly price does not explain what happens when the rental ends early or needs to continue. The reviewed sources do not establish a single shared renewal rule. Ask each supplier for the minimum term, renewal increment, notice required and whether collection delays affect billing.

Get cancellation and refund terms before paying. Treat transport, setup, pickup and optional accessories as separate questions until the written quote confirms they are included. A blank price field should never be treated as a free service.

Questions before booking

Hospital bed rentals in Phoenix: FAQs

Can I get a wider rental bed in Phoenix?

AZ MediQuip publishes 42-inch heavy-duty rental packages. Confirm the actual model, full footprint, mattress and complete capacity with the supplier and your care team. Availability is not verified here.

Does the published bed rate include an overbed table?

AZ MediQuip lists the table separately. The other reviewed sources do not establish that one is included. Ask for an itemized accessory list rather than assuming an example photograph shows the complete rental package.

Can I arrange delivery for today?

No delivery slot has been confirmed for this comparison. Ask the supplier whether the requested configuration is available and obtain a specific appointment before making arrangements that depend on arrival.

Why are there only three suppliers in this comparison?

These three have official evidence supporting Phoenix-area bed rentals. We also researched Easy Medical Store, but its listing displayed Sold Out and was left out of the active comparison. The guide is a selection, not a complete directory.

Are these total prices or equipment charges?

They are published reference equipment charges unless expressly described otherwise. Your address, rental dates, equipment, transport and optional items determine the final written quote.

The research behind this guide

Sources, selection & limitations

Included suppliers needed an official bed-rental listing and Phoenix-area service or location evidence. We separated specified packages from listings with unresolved configuration. Easy Medical Store was researched but excluded from the comparison after its rental page displayed Sold Out.

We compared official provider pages for equipment, local coverage, price basis and practical terms. Sources were reviewed on the dates shown in each listing. We have not booked these services, inspected equipment, collected customer reviews or confirmed live inventory. Order is not a service-quality ranking.
